Wanneer is een huis een thuis en hoe goed ken je je naaste familie? Coco is een jonge vrouw die geen flauw idee heeft wat ze met haar leven aan moet. Als haar afstandelijke moeder Elisabeth terminaal ziek blijkt, grijpt ze dit nieuwe doel met beide handen aan en trekt ze bij haar in. When do you call a house a home? Do you really know your family? These are some of the questions with which this film grapples. Coco is a young woman who has no idea what to do with her life. When she discovers that her cold and detached mother Elisabeth is terminally ill, Coco seizes the opportunity and moves in with her. Elisabeth is used to being alone, but Coco would prefer to create a bond with her mother. Craving is based on the novel by Esther Gerritsen.
