Sophia is a philosophy professor in Montreal and has been married to Xavier Laurentian for ten years. When the family country house needs renovations, carpenter Sylvain enters her life. It’s love at first sight, and from that moment, her life takes a twist. But can these two opposites with different backgrounds be together? She is an intellectual woman from an affluent family, and he comes from a working-class background. As Sophia completely surrenders to love, she suddenly begins to doubt all her beliefs and ambitions.
