Regisseur Cristian Mungiu won de prijs voor de tweede keer, na 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days. Ook met Beyond the Hills, Graduation en R.M.N. liet hij zien hoe meeslepend een botsing van overtuigingen kan zijn. Nu voert hij je mee naar een afgelegen Noors fjord, waar een gezin alles dreigt te verliezen.
