Everything changes when a rough and mysterious stranger named Berend suddenly appears at their doorstep, claiming to be Andor’s father and the man who once saved Klára’s life during the war. Directed by László Nemes and co-written with longtime collaborator Clara Royer — the creative team behind Son of Saul and Sunset — this powerful historical drama explores identity, trauma and the emotional ruins left behind by war and political oppression.
